VMS & VHS Bands Place 2nd in the UNK Band Day Parade Competition

On Saturday, November 29th, the Valentine Middle School Band and the Valentine High School Band traveled to Kearney to compete in the UNK Band Day Competition. There were 30 bands in the parade.

The Valentine High School Band end their field exhibition by forming two circles. They were the only Class B band to perform a field exhibition.

The Valentine Middle School Band placed 2nd in the parade competition and the high school band also placed 2nd. The Valentine High School Band performed in the field exhibition at Foster Field on the UNK Campus.

Only six other bands participated in the field exhibition and Valentine was the only high school band in Class B to do the field exhibition. 127 students participated: 72 middle school students and 57 high school students.
