32 1st time donors sign up for the Blood Drive

The VHS Student Council hosted a blood drive on Tuesday, November 6th in the VHS Gym. The blood drive was conducted in conjunction with the American Red Cross in North Platte. The purpose of the drive is not only to collect blood, but also to help the Red Cross find what may turn out to be lifelong donors.
Jaime appears "apprehensive" before she donates for the 1st time! "Does it hurt?" "NA! just a little stick, Jaime!" AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Plerase don't spill your pop next time Jaime!!!
The council was asked to sign up 40 students for donations. Perhaps the best news that came out of the blood drive was 32 of the 40 students were first time donors. VHS Student Council members were present throughout the drive to help with tasks from check-ins to providing refreshments after the blood was donated.
Sunny finds out they keep it "cold" when you donate blood! If you don't know why, donate sometime and you might just find out!
