2008 Season Begins for VHS Speech Team

Valentine High School Speech Season begins on January 5 at the VHS
Mock Tournament at l:00 PM at the high school. Faculty, students and
the public are invited to attend. The mock tournament is an
opportunity for students to perform for an audience before the
official opening of the speech season on January 12 at the VHS
Icebreaker. Twenty-seven high school students will be participating
in the mock tournament and competing at various tournaments this
season. The team is coached by Ms. Jan Knispel, assisted by Mrs.
Janell Stoeger, Mrs. Caroline Scott and Mrs. Ronelle Kilmer.
The season opener will begin at home at the Valentine Icebreaker
Tournament on January 12, 2008. Students will report at 7:30 for team
picture and begin competition at 8:00 AM. Please check Ms. Knispel's
webpage for Speech on January 11 for assignments to rounds.
