VHS Attends Scottsbluff Speech Tournament

VHS Speech Team brings home the 2nd Place Trophy from Scottsbluff

Congratulations to the VHS Speech Team on their 2nd place finish at the Scottsbluff Tournament. Double medalists were Kevin Klein 2nd in Extemp and 6th in Persuasive, and Laura Hamling with 3rd in Extemp and Informative. Other medalist in this all varsity competition include Entertainment speakers Jacob Tehrani 3rd, Heather Lutter 5th and Ryan Butler 6th. Katie Young placed 4th followed by Megan Hoefs 5th in Serious Prose. Superior Ratings were earned by Amy Graham and Heather Lutter in Duet, Katie Isom in Persuasive, Kris Sharp, Katie Tehrani and Katie Young in Humorous Prose, Paige May, Amy Graham and Megan Hoefs in Poetry, as well as Eric Lindvall in Entertainment.
