Girls Golf Takes 2nd in Broken Bow

It was 70o, light misting through the day with 15-20 winds in Broken Bow on Thursday, September 9. The weather did not deter the Valentine Girls Golf team from bringing home 4 Medalists and a 2nd Place team trophy.
With 9 teams entered, Valentine took 2nd place just 2 strokes behind Ogallala's score of 422. The girls all shot great. The proof is in the 4 medalists that help bring home the trophy. Alex Bauer shot an amazing 94 placing her in 4th place. Coming in after her was Sarah Michalek in 6th with a 106, Michelle Renning shot a 109 for 11th, and Shawna Wheeler ended the invite with a 112 in 15th place, Shae DeNaeyer shot a 123 and Caitlin Burgess had a 135.
Their next meet is in O'Neill on September 13.
