Is Your Student An ANGEL/MyELearning Student?
If your student is involved in a course that uses Angel/myelearning at VHS or VMS, you can obtain an account that will allow you to see the calendar and assignments for that class. Teachers who are using Angel/myelearning accounts at VHS are Mrs. Adams, Mrs. Arganbright, Mrs. Buurman, Ms. Knispel, Mr. Muirhead, Mr. Nollette, and Mrs. O'Kief; VMS teachers are Mrs. Breuklander, Mrs. Gass and Miss K O'Kief.
If you would like an parental account for the VHS/VMS Angel/Myelearning courses, please email Ms. Knispel with the parent/guardian name, email address and students' names. Obtaining an account takes approximately one to two weeks.
To Log-In to ANGEL after you receive you information you can either go to ANGEL here, or click on the Student Section and access it from there.
ANGEL is a web-based course management and collaboration portal that enables educators to manage course materials and to communicate with students. ANGEL can function both as a complement to traditional courses and as a site for distance learning.
With ANGEL, students can take surveys, quizzes, and tests; send and receive course mail; post messages to threaded discussions and chat rooms; upload assignments using online drop boxes; and more. Parents and students can check their progress and grades at any time during a course. Your student can also create groups and teams for project or committee work.
